Software Release Improves Efficiency in Consumer-Directed Healthcare

Enhancing handling of reimbursements for providers, payers and patients 

MINNEAPOLIS, November 03, 2005The days when a patient's pre-tax healthcare dollars had to be used up before the year's end are soon to be a thing of the past. Similar to how an employer might 'carry over' employee vacation days into the following year, Lighthouse1 today announced industry leading enhancements to its software that will again make life easier for healthcare patients and administrators.  The Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ solution fully leverages recent changes in regulations to roll over Health Reimbursement Arrangement funds for employees, as well as leverage the new Flexible Spending Account grace period ruling which allows an additional two months and fifteen days to use these funds for qualified expenses.
