Lighthouse1 Announces 2009 Partner Awards at Rev ‘09 |

MINNEAPOLIS, MN June 24, 2009 – Six companies were recognized at last evening’s Partner Awards Banquet at Rev ’09, Lighthouse1’s annual partner conference and forum being held this week. Award recipients were recognized for reaching significant milestones in the past year in a variety of categories. Lighthouse1 executives announced the awards to a capacity filled ballroom of Lighthouse1 partners, industry experts and Lighthouse1 employees.
“We had tremendous growth in 2008, growing participants coverage 89% to nearly 2 million consumers served and we attribute this success to our loyal partners. These partners show tremendous value to their customers by delivering superior services leveraging the Lighthouse1 OnDemand solution”, stated Lighthouse1 CEO Jeff Young. Chief Market Officer Jeff Brunsberg added, “These award winners are great representatives of our entire partner channel who provide word class service to their clients day after day, year after year”.
These companies were recognized by Lighthouse1 in the following categories
Partner of the Year - The most anticipated award of the evening was given to eflexgroup.com, a Madison-based third party administrator of pre-tax employee benefits and COBRA Administration. Lighthouse1 honored eflexgroup.com for the “best all-around” performance in several major factors including employer and participant retention, HSA growth, debit card adoption, service excellence and lives on the Lighthouse1 system. eflexgroup also won an international six sigma award earlier this year.
Service Excellence – Discovery Benefits, a national leader in employee benefits administration with a presence in all 50 states, was given the Service Excellence award for their performance in service categories such as customer retention, employer participation, payment cycles and other key areas. Discovery Benefits has become one of the premier brands in the CDH industry by consistently providing world class service.
New Partner of the Year - Genesis Employee Benefits, a nationwide health care savings and reimbursement plan administrator was recognized on multiple qualifiers including the fastest ever migration onto Lighthouse1 OnDemand™, product knowledge, industry leadership and vision, and reference ability. Genesis went live on the Lighthouse1 Ondemand system in less than 21 days and has grown a very successful business presence in the last year. They are a leader in the VEBA market.
Evangelist of the Year – Workable Solutions, a web-based provider of employee benefit solutions, was honored for their marketing and communications efforts in the form of media materials, case studies, testimonials and other references to help educate the consumer and other providers on product and industry information. Workable Solutions is an industry leader in automated payments and claims administration.
Market Maker – HealthSCOPE Benefits, a full service claims administration and health management firm providing administrative to self- funded employers. HealthSCOPE Benefits was recognized for using innovation and creativity to increase revenue generation, including a strong HSA offering. After experiencing over 100% growth in 2008, HealthSCOPE Benefits is on target for phenomenal growth again in 2009.
Leadership Award - Amanda Johnson, Senior Product Manager, of Ceridian Benefit Services, a provider of payroll and human resources management solutions, was given the individual Leadership Award for making a positive impact in the CDH industry. Amanda’s influence on the direction and evolution of the Lighthouse1 OnDemand solution over the last three years is a key driver of industry vision and new functionality. Amanda is also a strong leader of the virtual partner community and a member of the Strategic Advisory Group.
