2010 Product Launch
October 6, 2009 – Minneapolis, MN – Representatives from Lighthouse1, an industry leader in Consumer Driven Healthcare (CDH) administration software solutions, announced the launch of Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ 2010 at a live telecast today. The broadcast was held at the W Hotel in Minneapolis for a select number of Lighthouse1 partners in person and the remainder of partners tuned in live via the web. The presentation and live telecast featured live product demonstrations and product roadmap information delivered by Lighthouse1 team members and executives including CEO Jeff Young, EVP Jeff Bakke and other members of the product management team. Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ is the nation’s largest OnDemand healthcare solution.

The product launch featured exciting product and technology enhancements as well as highlighting the upcoming product roadmap. The event also rolled out new marketing initiatives, a new Lighthouse1 Web-site and partner and customer success stories. Hundreds of partners, customers, CDH industry influencers and Lighthouse1 team members attended in person or via the Internet.

Our presentation today served to ensure thorough communication of not only the significant advancements in the system but also to preview some of the exciting new features we’ll release in the coming months.”

One of the most important enhancements announced at the webcast included a usability-focused redesign of the Lighthouse1 Consumer Portal. Based on customer feedback and extensive usability testing the Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ Consumer Portal has been enhanced making the layout, navigation and automated communications the easiest to use and most user-friendly in the industry. In addition, top-level information on the home page for the new Consumer Portal answers the most frequently asked questions such as balances, claims status and reimbursements. The portal enhancements will significantly increase use of the new portal by consumers and subsequently decreasing overhead for employers and administrators.

Lighthouse1 also announced new features for Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ 2010 including enhancements to the configurability of the system, upgrades for administrator operations such as automation of recurring claims, enhancement of auto-substantiation processes and additional business intelligence and reporting capabilities. The Lighthouse1 OnDemand™ design has been enhanced to incorporate large demand in HSA participation in 2010 including deeper functionality in reporting, notifications, contribution and distribution processing components. Mobile Web access to portals and account balance information is also set for an upcoming release.
